Meet Our Team
Cedar (Honeywell) Kirtley and Mya Honeywell originally founded the Honeywell Sisters in 2002. The team has evolved into the Simply Home Group with the addition of licensed realtors Dainna Bartness and Emily Nordquist as well as mortgage, investment and renovation consultants.
Cedar Kirtley graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Business Administration and immediately established a award-winning career in the pharmaceutical industry. She decided to pursue a life-long interest and career goal becoming a REALTOR® in the fall of 2002. Selling over $30 million in real estate in the Twin Cities, Cedar has been named a "Super Real Estate Agent" by Minneapolis/St Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Journal every year since 2007. She is a certified EcoBroker® with extensive training on energy efficiency and environmentally sensitive design. Cedar lives in Mahtomedi with her husband and two children along with Frankie, their Golden Retriever mix. They enjoy biking, boating, camping, golfing, cooking and entertaining as well as completing home improvement projects and attending sporting events.
Dainna Bartness attended Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa, earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduation, she began working as a sales consultant in the salon industry. As a REALTOR® she loves to apply her sales training and outgoing personality to help make her clients’ moves simple and enjoyable. Whether searching for the perfect home or helping you sell and move on, Dainna strives to exceed expectations, and does so routinely. She lives in Stillwater with her husband, daughter and their Beagle, Lily. Dainna enjoys reading, traveling, camping, spending time with family and friends; she recently completed her first marathon!
Emily Nordquist graduated with honors from Indianhead College in western Wisconsin with a degree in Finance. After working in the legal field and enjoying the beautiful mountains and lakes of northern Idaho, Emily returned to Minnesota. In 2004, she became a licensed cosmetologist and owns a successful business as a stylist. As a REALTOR®, Emily uses her education in finance, her keen attention to detail and her friendly, optimistic attitude to help you find the home that is perfect for you! She has experience working with first-time buyers as well as new construction properties. She strives to have happy, satisfied clients for life and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Emily lives in the Saint Paul area with her husband and enjoys gardening, biking and snowboarding.
Mya Honeywell grew up in Winona, Minnesota. She graduated with honors from St. Cloud State University with degrees in Biology and Biomedicine. Although no longer active in real estate sales, Mya continues to invest in real estate and has several properties in the east metro area. She stays on top of real estate trends and offers consulting services for our investor clients. She continues to support the Simply Home Group with her experience and networking connections. Mya lives in St Paul and can be found logging in lots of miles as an active marathon runner. She enjoys boating, golfing and spending time friends and family as well as Bombay, a Whippet, and Maverick, a Yellow Lab.
